[Blush.] [ 1:46] [Music stops.] TRACK 7 - ENDING THEME TRACK 8 - "HUMANS ~SHINKU~" Shinku: June 1st, cloudy. I wonder how much time has passed since I awakened. To us dolls of the Rozen Maidens, awakening is a signal announcing the start of the Alice Game. Or so it should be, but... since coming to this house, sometimes I forget all about that. What a problem. My inattentive servant Jun, and his attentive yet somewhat witless older sister Nori... these two are the cause of that situation. They took from me both my elegant lifestyle and the word "boredom". I have never known another Medium as unmannered as Jun. He constantly forgets my orders and talks back to me... and Nori is unable to make a decent cup of tea no matter how long she tries. Brother and sister both are such hopeless creatures. And yet, they are not entirely flawed. Jun's sewing was so wonderful, it touched me with its artfulness. Even Nori, while her tea is lukewarm, has considerable skill at cooking. Yes, that is what it means to be human... They are surely not perfect, but they each have their respective things that make them shine. No matter how much you look at them, humans are so interesting. However, there are some things I'd like to tell Jun someday. "Apologize to me more often." "Do your scandalous talk somewhere that people won't hear it." "Stop making clackety noises all of the time in front of that 'PC', or whatever it's called." "Air out your room occasionally." "Be quiet in the middle of the night." "And, don't tell anyone about that business with the toilet... If you tell anyone, you understand what will happen to you, don't you?" Oh my goodness, it's already three minutes past nine. Well then, good night. TRACK 9 - "DREAM DIARY ~HINAICHIGO~" Hinaichigo: June 10, sunny! Since this morning the weather's been nice! Hina got up early and helped Nori with laundry and stuff! Hina is a hard worker! While I was drying the laundry with Nori, some kitties gathered in the garden and started rolling around. They all looked like they felt so good! But, but, when I was watching jealously, I got laughed at by Suiseiseki. "You're such a child, as always," she said. Hmph! That's not true! Hina's a fine Lady now! Suiseiseki, who's always playing weird pranks, is more childish after all! Don't you all think so too? After breakfast, Nori went to that place called "school". When I was at Tomoe's house, and Tomoe went to school, Hina was all by herself and very lonely. But at this house there's Jun and Shinku. And, even though she teases me a little, Suiseiseki's here too, so I'm not lonely at all! Shinku said that Hina and the others were made to play the Alice Game, but Hina doesn't care about that! Everyone drawing pictures, dancing, and playing is much more fun than any old Alice Game! Now that I think of it, I had a dream last night. Hina was there, and Shinku was there, and Suiseiseki was there, and Souseiseki was there, and Jun and Nori were both there, and Tomoe was there, and and... [Giggle.] Suigintou was there together with us! It was a dream of us all playing together in a flower garden. When I told Suiseiseki, she made fun of me, but Shinku listened without laughing and said that it was a wonderful dream. Right now, Hina's dream is only Hina's dream. But someday, I hope it will be everyone's dream. TRACK 10 - "RAIN ~SUISEISEKI~" Suiseiseki: June 16th, rainy. I hate the rain! It makes things so wet and soggy, it even dampens my mood. On a day like this, the best thing is to tease and tell fibs to Chibi-ichigo! I got up early and placed a heavy weight on top of Chibi-ichigo's box. When I heard her voice crying in tears, "Open it ~na no~!", it made me feel just a little bit more cheerful. See, even Chibi-ichigo is good for something once in a while! By the way, when he saw that, the puny human had the impudence to turn to me and say, "Cut that out" ~desu! Honestly, just who does he think he is? As a human, he's a billion years too early to admonish me! It's like, don't get so full of yourself, you bastard! But, afterwards, I was told the same thing by Souseiseki. And she even told me that it wasn't very grown-up. To speak like that to your only older twin sister...! But, but, maybe it's just as Souseiseki says ~desu. Certainly, it may be that for a Lady such as myself, it's not very grown-up to feel so addicted to the sense of superiority that I get from teasing that childish Chibi-ichigo. Oh, well ~desu. [Sigh.] Well then, good night ~desu. TRACK 11 - "OBSERVATION ~SOUSEISEKI~" Souseiseki: June 9th, sunny. Shinku has changed a bit. When I'd thought she would be fighting in earnest with Suigintou, instead she had set aside the Alice Game to do things like absorb herself in watching television, or complaining about her tea being at a slightly incorrect temperature. I always used to think of her as a bit of a strange girl, but lately I especially think so. Also, maybe because of Shinku's influence, Suiseiseki and Hinaichigo also seem kind of different from before... Suiseiseki, who used to be intensely shy and would hide behind me all the time trembling in fear, is now running around holding a harisen*... I can scarcely believe that it's her! I wonder what changed everyone? Could it be Jun-kun's influence, after all? Could he really be all that special? Before, I spent a whole day observing him every moment, but he only did things like sit in front of his computer and grumble... Not to sound like Suiseiseki, but he really did look like nothing more than a worthless human being. I came right out and asked Shinku about him. When I did, Shinku smiled a little bit and said, "Do I look unhappy right now?" To make that difficult Shinku say something like that, Jun-kun must be someone special after all! Maybe Jun-kun has some strange power that I don't know about. And maybe it's a power that will change the direction of us dolls of the Rozen Maidens. A strange, wonderful power that will teach us, who were created for fighting, something more than fighting. Sometime I'll try having a long talk with Jun-kun. Then I might come to understand something about it. [Laugh.] But I might get Shinku angry at me. When Hinaichigo and Suiseiseki are playing with Jun-kun, Shinku always looks so indignant. Maybe this, too, is part of Jun-kun's power. [* harisen: a large paper fan often used in anime as a slapstick device for smacking people around] TRACK 12 - "BALL ~SUIGINTOU~" Suigintou: In my dream, I dance alone. It is at the site of a ball. Wearing a gorgeous dress, I dance as though pacing through the steps of a waltz. Then, in time, a man arrives. As he extends his hand, I answer with a broad smile and place my hand atop his. But the dream ends there, without my even being able to remember the man's face or voice. I've had this dream so many times before. That man must have been Father! The one who created me, my very own Father! But Father will not smile for me. It's because I'm not Alice. There is only one in this world for whom Father will smile - only Alice. To be anything other than that is to be meaningless and worthless. Yes, it's the same as being good-for-nothing junk. Please wait for me, Father! Soon, all of the Roza Mysticas will become mine! When that happens, I will become Alice! At last I will be able to go and meet Father. For the sake of that, I would do anything! Even if I lost everything else, I wouldn't mind. Because, that is what I was created for! Shinku and the others, who have forgotten the Alice Game and spend their time playing, have no right to become Alice. I'll turn those children into junk soon. They will die in obscurity with their ugliness exposed for all to see. [Giggle.] Look, Father! Please take a good look at me! I am wiser than Shinku, cuter than Hinaichigo, more intelligent than Souseiseki, more noble than Suiseiseki... I myself am more deserving a doll than any of becoming Alice! Well, Father?
